A Thought, And Not A Happy One

stargate_schadenfreudeOkay, SGU stinks on ice and instead of fixing any of its issues, the Boys From Bridge are spending all of their time saying we shouldn't say mean things about them and their baby, right? And we all know they're lazy greedheads who can't be arsed to hire staff for the show who even knows where the cluebus stops, right?
Unfortunately, it's public knowledge that they've hired an extremely clueful SF writer, John Scalzi, as consultant on SGU. Mr. Scalzi does a nifty keeno blog called "Whatever" (http://whatever.scalzi.com/) in addition to writing rather clueful SF novels (Old Man's War, The Ghost Brigades, The Last Colony, Zoe's Tale).
I search in vain for any indication the Boys from Bridge are listening to him...
