Anyway....
There's been chat about the ratings and such, and I was wondering, do I count because I read the transcripts?
Heh.
The show is being DVR'd yet I haven't watched past the beginning three-parter. I am curious about certain things about the show but I can't bring myself to physically watch the damn thing, my eyes are bad enough as it is.
So I read the transcripts once they are available.
Heh-heh.
Now the show is on hiatus, the math folk, the Jack-is-too-fat-for tv-folk, the we-need-a-real-enemy-dammit folk, the more-boobies!folk and the rest of them are going to need something else to complain about.
Rush carries the Ancient gene and is manipulating the ship. He's pissing off everyone because they pissed him off. The military, the senator's bitchy princess daughter, the IOA, he's pissed at them all. He's gearing up for his own armaggedon and he's taking the assholes and non believers with him. Rush was picked for the project because he was a last resort. There are smarter folks at the SGC who could have figured this out but we all know how protective flyboys are of their geeks. Daniel and radiation do not mix, thus there was no way in HELL Jack was going to let Daniel work on the Icarus Project. Same with Rodney, John doesn't like to be away from his favorite geek for too long, and since Rodney's already blown up a solar system (well, 5/6th) the Icarus Project was just trouble waiting to happen. The issue with Rush is that he doesn't have his own flyboy. No one wants him. If he had his own flyboy Rush would be on a more even keel. *grins*

Oh sure, they have their issues...Daniel is just so...Daniel and Rodney likes to blow stuff up, but they're tame in comparison!
Hell, Daniel's even got a flyboy who's moved up in rank so damn fast even his head is spinning!
