http://twitter.com/Syfy just tweeted "Syfy will end its original action-adventure series Stargate Universe when the show returns with the final 10 episodes of its second season in the Spring of 2011."

So Syfy fulfilled it's original contractual obligation and nothing more, I'm utterly shocked.

i was reading where they had a 5 year plan for the show & people were taking this as the show would run for five years. i restrained myself from commenting that having a five plan doesn't mean that the show will run for five years.

Yeah, they *also* said they have completed scripts for the SGA movie and the next SG1 movie.

I kind of doubt they had any plan at all, really.
