Totally ganked from ailurophile6 over at LJ: http://ailurophile6.livejournal.com/236915.html
The two fun parts for me:
Median Age: 49 (WTF? What happened to all of TPTB's demographic work? Wasn't SGU supposed to be targeted toward youngermen people?
Apparently Part One of "Incursion" was an all time low for the ENTIRE Stargate franchise. PERIOD.
Even worse, RDA and MS on the episode "Subversion" didn't draw the viewers.
Wow.

on 2010-06-17 04:09 pm (UTC)I think also the move to Tuesdays is possibly the worst idea ever. Many stargate fans on my flist already have a full tuesday night schedule, and to make them choose between SG:U and say, NCIS? The SG:U ratings are just heading down further. If they're lucky, I might have time to watch my DVR'ed episode on Friday.

on 2010-06-17 06:16 pm (UTC)The ratings for SGU were a shock to TPTB, apparently, especially the finale, which was worse than the ratings for the last season of SGA.
Oh, and the wrestling thing? NO.

on 2010-06-17 07:29 pm (UTC)I am not surprised that the ratings continued downward towards the end of the season, especially if people assume that they needed to see the entire season to watch the finale to make sure they didn't miss anything. The ratings also do not include iTunes downloads, which is what I prefer to do, nor did it include the 11pm or later showing. And even I wasn't there to watch the finale-- I went to see "The Kirate Kid" instead. (and it rocked!)
I'm really not willing to give up my Tuesday night TV awesomeness, because honestly, between NCIS, NCIS: LA (which would be the conflicting time), The Good Wife (this and Sanctuary might be up for an argument), not to mention V with the ever gorgeous Morena Baccaran, and American Idol & So You Think You Can Dance series on Fox, I think SG:U would be relegated to Thursday or Friday playback at best. Now that I think about it, doesn't the awesome "Leverage" also come on Tuesdays? Tuesday is for GOOD TV, and while I will continue to watch SG:U, it won't be on that night, and it won't interrupt my Wednesday night Criminal Minds either.
