Interesting theory. If Atlantis were still on, there'd be little crossover, too (thankfully). The same, sadly, cannot be said for SG1. I'm pretty sure if they'd had known that the consequences of defeating the Ori meant that they would now have absolutely nothing else to do but sit around and wait for a bunch unlovable pricks to phone home, they probably wouldn't have fought so hard.
