They have at least two Ancient communication stones on the ship. (Both the Colonel and Chloe were dealing with people on earth at the same time this episode.) These stones allow for instantaneous, real-time bodyswapping over apparently infinite distances with no external power source needed and no side effects...other than the bodyswap itself.
So...
1. Two stones (minimum) on the Destiny.
2. About 80 people aboard the Destiny.
3. Stargate Command has hundreds, if not thousands, of soldiers and scientists at their command, as well as access to top minds in every field from the US and the other nations in the international gate consortium.
What does this mean?
It means that the SGC can have a minimum of TWO experts on Ancient language or technology aboard Destiny at all times.
Give each scientist an eight-hour shift. He (or she) bodyswaps with someone aboard the Destiny and works at their specialty for eight hours before swapping back.
Each bodyswappee from Destiny gets a) eight hours in the well-lit, (relatively) comfortable SGC base, with access to decent food (again, relatively, even if it's standard commissary fare it's better than what they've got on the ship). They have access to email, to the internet, to telephones, etc. (Always assuming they're cleared for it.)
They ALSO have access to experts in the SGC who can teach them how to read Ancient, and provide them with primers on Ancient technology so that they won't ALWAYS be completely useless aboard the ship. For that matter, they could also all be given basic training in firearms (just in case), first aid, survival in various environments, and so forth.
They can't actually transfer equipment, but there's no reason they can't all learn plenty about how to cope with their situation more effectively.
It'll never happen, though. Too safe, too sane. Too reasonable.
But it's what I'd do if I were in charge.
