Fauxpology Ahoy!

Airlock Alpha says "It's Time For Stargate Fans To Build A Bridge"

http://www.airlockalpha.com/node/7456

Only if I get to put Bitchboy, the production staff of SGU, and Brian J. Smith's cunting mommy under the first pylon.

Dammit, Airlock Alpha! I'm a doctor, not an engineer!

What I found was a bit surprising. Many of these people are true Stargate fans, who for whatever reasons, are not fans of SGU

NO SHIT, SHERLOCK!

And we have to respect each other's likes and dislikes.

LOL. Yeah, he was so respectful of the dislikes of non-SGU fans last post.

I'm so glad that he concedes that it's vaguely possible I am allowed to still call myself a Stargate fan even if I am not a fan of SGU. Gee thanks.

I'm so glad we have him to accept us and guide us towards Peace On Earth.

A-freakin'-men. We're not worthy.

Please.

*climbs on soapbox*

I don't need some dude to tell me how to feel, how to react, how to conduct myself or how to agree to disagree.

Especially since he's name calling as well.

The topic of liking/disliking SGU is a passionate one. Deal with it, or get the fuck out of the kitchen.

And if homeboy there wants to start building bridges, he needs to check his own attitude at the first ROAD CLOSED sign because he flings shit with thebest of them.

And Brian J. Smith's mommy: all she's doing is making a damn fool of herself. I would ignore her, she's not worth slowing down my CPU.

I mean, really. We're all fans of Stargate, but there are certain aspects of Stargate we don't like. Just because we're fans doesn't mean we have to believe EVERYTHING about it is all roses and hearts. I love Stargate: I like SGA over SG-1, but its no big deal. I think RDA is hotter than MS...no big deal. Sam/Jack makes my brain bleed, but that's OK as well.

I am getting really sick of these fence sitting morons demanding we stop complaining about SGU. There's opposite sides to every issue. EVERY. Thinking the same as everyone else...hasn't that been done? Like, oh WWII?

*hops off soapbox*

You know, I don't think that Brian J. Smith's mother behaved at all appropriately. But I think that calling her a cunt is utterly inappropriate, not to mention offensive. Disliking the show is one thing. Personal insults are something else.
