I see the logic!fail is as strong as ever as is the theme of 'Tell! Don't Show!"

Most of the viewers had figured out what the ship was doing just based on the previews. Why oh why would the scientists - who I would suppose to be 'the best and brightest' in order to get onto such a project - not have a friggin' clue?
