http://twitter.com/Syfy just tweeted "Syfy will end its original action-adventure series Stargate Universe when the show returns with the final 10 episodes of its second season in the Spring of 2011."

So Syfy fulfilled it's original contractual obligation and nothing more, I'm utterly shocked.

I am so very happy! Went over to the brownnoser's announcement on Gateworld and read the comments. Mostly from braindamaged SGU fans shrieking about how now the h8rs have what we wanted and have DESTROYED STARGATE 4EVAH!!!

Well, no, dumplings. TPTB did that. And I'm charmed by the notion that the fanbase could have that much power. If that were true, surely *our* shows would be on, right?

Oh my god I *CANNOT WAIT* to hear the pity party pissing of Mallozzi and co.

I do feel sorry for the actors, though. Apparently they found out they were out of work from Twitter, too.
